FOLDED WATER WALL MOUNTS
FOLDED WATER is a series of three fluid-shaped, wall-mounted shelves made from deep blue Corian remnants. Inspired by the ever-shifting forms of water, each piece is folded into a sculptural object that blurs the line between function and abstraction. By framing everyday items as part of a spatial composition, the mounts challenge traditional domestic roles of shelving and propose new ways of living with design—transforming surfaces into portals of fluid expression and reshaping our relationship to the spaces we inhabit. The use of leftover Corian reflects a commitment to repurposing high-quality industrial waste into lasting design pieces. The project intends to evolve by recreating the series with other remnant materials, reinforcing a sustainable approach to making.
